Our Dogs
All of our dogs are raised as part of our family inside our home or in amazing guardian homes within 30 minutes from us. Their health and nutrition is always our top priority. All of our breeding dogs come from amazing show lines and have their genetic testing, OFA testing and/or Pennhip evaluations. We do lots of training and adventures with our dogs such as swimming, hiking, and socializing in pet friendly stores. They are not just breeders to us, they are our family and they have such fun and amazing lives. We do not rehome retired breeders, as we feel we could never part with one of our family members. All of our retired breeders get to stay with us or with their guardian home families forever.
Temperament
At Lovasi Goldens, we are dedicated to breeding Golden Retrievers with exceptional temperaments. Our focus is on producing dogs that are not only intelligent and trainable, but also calm, affectionate, and eager to please—traits that make them ideal family companions. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on their proven temperaments, ensuring that each generation carries forward the gentle, loyal nature that Golden Retrievers are known for. From birth, our puppies are raised in a loving home environment with early socialization and training that supports their emotional development and sets the foundation for a well-balanced, confident adult dog.
Foundational Puppy Training
At Lovasi Goldens, we believe that early training is key to raising confident, well-adjusted puppies. From day one, our puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and early scent introduction to support their neurological development and sensory awareness. As they grow, we introduce structured fear-reduction exercises to help them build resilience and confidence in new environments. We also lay the foundation for lifelong good habits by starting potty training and crate training, using positive reinforcement methods that make the process smooth and stress-free for both the puppies and their future families. This early, intentional training sets our puppies up for success and helps them transition easily into their new homes.
In home puppy and dog training
At Lovasi Goldens, we proudly offer personalized in-home puppy and dog training to help set both pets and their families up for long-term success. Our training is tailored to each dog’s unique personality and developmental stage, focusing on building trust, learning how to be the pack leader, and addressing specific needs within the comfort of your home environment. Whether you're starting with a young puppy or working on advanced obedience with an older dog, we provide hands-on guidance to ensure a calm, well-mannered companion who fits seamlessly into your family’s lifestyle.
Our Program
We strive to make the best puppy program out there! All our puppies are raised inside our home with lots of socialization from both adults, kids and other dogs. We provide our puppies with Early Neurological Stimulation Training which is a method that can significantly impact a puppy’s development. We also provide our puppies with Early Scent training, fear reduction training, sound training, weekly grooming, and we start them on crate training and potty training.
